Experimenting With Fethiye And Facebook

We love social media – you won’t be surprised to read that if you know us – and, of course, we love Fethiye. Well, who wouldn’t? So, today is a little experimental post about two of our favourite subjects. You see, Facebook have now made it possible to embed posts from our Facebook page into this blog; great for those of you who don’t use Facebook and wonder what goes on over there. All very clever, don’t you think?

So to experiment, we’re embedding this post that we put to the page on Sunday morning. At the moment, we’re waking up early on Sundays to go for a run and, when I got back, I just had to take a photo of the beautiful morning view over Fethiye harbour. It seems a few others agreed the view is indeed beautiful, judging by the number of likes and comments the photo got. Here it is for you to enjoy:

(If you do use Facebook, these embedded posts are interactive, so you can like and share posts directly from here. Also, if you don’t already like our Facebook page, you can do that from here, too.)

Fethiye at 7 am this morning – when all is still and calm and perfect… 🙂 Happy start to the new week, everyone. 🙂

  1. This is so cool! What a great idea for combining the two. Thanks for calling attention to this new feature. Cheers!

  2. Nice! I’m now inspired to experiment a little myself 🙂

  3. @ Sophie: Well we all need to keep ourselves up to date with these things. Good luck. 🙂

  4. @ Mark: Yeah, we just need to try and work out how best to use it now. 🙂
